What to expect

Worship. The Word. A warm welcome.

There is always room for you to simply watch and take it in. A typical Sunday flows like this:

  1. Prayer to open our time together
  2. Worship and praise
  3. A special ministration at times: a dance, a song from our worship team or a soloist, or something from Children's Church or Twelve20
  4. Giving, testimonies, and announcements: we give as part of our worship and share what God has done. Kids head to Children's Church here.
  5. The Word: the sermon
  6. Prayer ministry for anyone who wants it
  7. Refreshments and conversation after we close

How long is a service? Sundays usually run about two hours, from 10:30am to 12:30pm. Some Sundays we sense God leading us to linger a little longer in worship and prayer, and we're grateful for the freedom to follow Him when He does.

Questions people ask

Before you come

What about my kids?

Kids are so welcome here. Families start the service together, praying and worshipping as one church. Around the announcements, children head to Children's Church while the adults continue into the Word.

Children's Church cares for kids from about age 2 through 5th grade, in small groups by age: preschool, grades 1–2, and grades 3–5.

Will I be singled out as a visitor?

No. Our greeters will say hello as you come in. If you'd like to stay in touch, you can scan a QR code to fill in a short guest card, as you arrive or during the announcements. It's entirely up to you.

Can I watch online first?

Absolutely. Every message is on YouTube and the podcast on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, or browse recent messages here.

I have another question.

Write us anytime at hello@p246church.org. A real person will get back to you.
