Victory through Worship

Min. Mrs. Catherine Nikoi · Psalm 51:3-11; Psalm 63:1; Psalm 121; Romans 8:1

Night two of three (Oct 1, 2026) in the Spiritual Emphasis Week of fasting and prayer at Jesus Generation (P246 Church), led by Min. Mrs. Catherine Nikoi. The night is one extended movement of worship and guided prayer: thanksgiving for God's mercy, Psalm 51 cleansing ("cast me not away from Your presence"), Psalm 63 thirst for deeper dimensions of God, Psalm 121 help at the crossroad, the freedom of Romans 8:1 for those walking after the Spirit, Peter's restoration ("you are still usable — just avail yourself"), the servant's listening posture of Samuel and Habakkuk ("speak, Lord, what are You saying this season?"), and intercession for the salvation of souls in Athens and beyond through every message, podcast, and Operation Andrew card — closing with a declaration that the Lord is reigning over the city from tonight.

Prayer points

Play the video and pray with us, or take these points into your own time with God.

  1. Thank Him for mercy and visitationThank God that His mercy sustained you — "if it had not been for His mercy, we would have been consumed" — and ask Him to visit you in a special way tonight by the ministry of His Spirit.Lamentations 3:22; 1 Corinthians 12:7
  2. Cast me not away from Your presenceLike David, acknowledge every transgression — even the secret things you can tell no man — plead the precious blood of Jesus, and ask for cleansing so nothing disqualifies you from His presence.Psalm 51:3-4, 11
  3. More of You — the deeper dimensions"O God, You are my God; my soul thirsts for You in a dry and thirsty land." Pray not for what you can get from Him but for what you can know of Him: the deeper things of His worship, His praise, and His service.Psalm 63:1
  4. My help comes from the LordAt the crossroad, for the things you cannot explain to anybody, lift your eyes to the hills: He will not suffer your foot to be moved, and He preserves your going out and coming in.Psalm 121:1-8
  5. No condemnation — let the Spirit increaseYou are walking after the Spirit — fasting, praying, studying the word — so there is no condemnation; pray that this fast is not just another fast but a lifting, an increase of the dimension of the Spirit of God in you.Romans 7:19; Romans 8:1
  6. I am still usable — I avail myselfPeter denied Jesus three times and was still filled at Pentecost and stood before rulers. Whatever you have done, and whatever your profession — doctor, teacher, driver, accountant — tell the Lord: "Father, I avail myself; whatever position You want to put me, I am available."John 21:15-17; Acts 4:8-13
  7. Speak, Lord — what are You saying this season?Like Samuel ("speak, for Your servant hears") and Habakkuk on the watchtower, ask God for His word and His expectations — for your personal life, for the ministry, for the church — and for open ears not to miss the direction.1 Samuel 3:10; Habakkuk 2:1
  8. The salvation of soulsPray that the people of Athens and the cities around us might be saved — the names on your Operation Andrew card, everyone reached through the messages, the podcast, and the channel — that the word would carry the sharp edge of the Spirit and pierce hearts, and that the Lord would reign over the city from tonight.Romans 10:1; Hebrews 4:12
